Jaliscan-Californian Inspired Cuisine

WHAT IS LOLÓ?

Loló is a family-owned restaurant that offers non-traditional and uniquely inspired Mexican food, utilizing local ingredients. Through the use of color, music and great food, coupled with the vision of one of Mexico’s most creative designers, Loló invites people to experience Mexican culture and cuisine, reimagined.

Loló brings the essence of those same streets and markets to the streets of the Mission, through an environment that welcomes guests to share in reimagined Mexican food and culture while creating new experiences in the Mission.

After my restaurant, this is my hideout restaurant. I come here at least once a week. The best thing I ate in the mission was the Taco Tropical from Loló.

With our new restaurant, I was inspired by both my childhood and the heart of the Mission District. As our city continues to evolve, it runs the risk of losing some of its history and culture.

I wanted to capture and preserve the artistic spirit of the neighborhood–in my own way–and create an environment that embraces our heritage, ingenuity and history built around food and community.
